Brickwall Farm presents a pair of self-catering holiday cottages located on the outskirts of the charming village of Sible Hedingham. Positioned conveniently close to a variety of local attractions, these cottages, nestled within a small family farm, provide an idyllic starting point for a tranquil countryside retreat.

These two cottages stand opposite the farmhouse, offering seamless access to over 50 acres of pasture and woodlands, where rare breed cattle and sheep graze peacefully. They are a delightful component of a picturesque barn conversion, featuring exposed beams, tiled flooring on the ground level, an oak staircase, and upstairs floorboards, evoking a rustic yet cozy ambiance.

Patsy's Cottage: This cottage offers accommodation for up to four people. There is one double bedroom with an en suite bathroom and a twin bedroom with an en suite shower (suitable for disabled). The dining/sitting room is spacious and equipped with very comfortable seating, a TV, a DVD player and music equipment as well as Wi-Fi. The kitchen is fully fitted and has an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, coffee pod machine, crockery and cutlery meaning you will have everything you need to cook a delicious meal.

Jo’s Cottage: The cottage is beautifully furnished and comes with a wonderful four-poster double bed and a large en suite shower. Downstairs there is a TV, DVD player and radio/CD player. A well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of excellent appliances, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, coffee pod machine, dishwasher and fridge.

Whilst staying at the holiday cottages you will also have use of the onsite facilities which include a heated outdoor pool that is open from Easter to autumn. There is also a games room, tennis court and a one and a half acre fishing lake.

Guests are free to walk across the pasture and woodland at their leisure. We have a small herd of rare breed British White cattle and Portland sheep, and half a dozen friendly hens.

There are many things to do in the local area including visiting Kentwell Hall which is a stately home that also holds concerts. The Colne Valley Railway is a popular attraction as well as Hedingham Castle and Melford Hall.

The self catering accommodation is also located just five minutes from the local golf course so if you are a keen golfer don’t forget your clubs.
