The Old Shop Holiday Home is a static caravan that provides self catering, pet friendly accommodation. It is located within the small coastal village of Carsethorn. Just under half an hour away and you can be in the market town of Dumfries.

Our wonderful holiday home, Sunset Retreat Lodge, is perfect for an unforgettable holiday in the idyllic countryside. This brand-new purpose-built garden room even boasts a hot tub to soak yourself in. The holiday home comes with a fabulous open plan living/kitchen area that offers stunning countryside views.

A double en suite shower room and a twin bedroom are available. A second shower room includes a wonderful dual handset and deluge shower rose, plus heated towels.

Outside there is a picnic area for al fresco dining when the sun is shining.

Guests are welcome to use the summerhouse which has panoramic views. It has ample seating inside and out. There is also a delightful hot tub for guests to use.

This is the ideal location for visiting South West Scotland, the Borders, Lake District and north east of England. There are 200 miles of coastline to enjoy and a wide range of attractions. Places to visit include RSPB Mersehead, Caerlaverock Castle and Mabie Farm Park.
