The Lamb Inn, Sandford, Crediton, Devon
We Accept
The Lamb Inn is a 16th century former coaching house with open fires, low ceilings, comfy sofas, stunning bedrooms and a private room for parties of less than 100. It's a typical village pub, always welcoming, always something going on but rarely packed with nowhere to sit. There's also a lovely sheltered garden on three levels, perfect for summers evenings.
They are spacious and luxurious with solar powered underfloor heating and king size orthopaedic beds. Also included are modern power showers, flat screen tvs, quality hair-dryers, tea and fresh coffee, newspapers and if you wish breakfast in bed. We also have the latest fire alarms and detectors for your peace of mind.
Our food is what makes us stand out from the crowd. We keep our menus fairly short but emphasise flavour and use quality ingredients, mainly local. We serve bar snacks from 9.30am till close and a full menu lunchtime and evening every day. French head chef Franck Gautherot moved from London and has experience in France, the US and England.
We are extremely careful that our real ale is always perfect and fresh, thus we do not offer more than five real ales at a time. That said we never offer less than three ales so choice is usually good. Despite our growing popularity one or other is going to be sitting around too long if we try to offer eight or nine beers. Our beer is good and we're in the 2008 and 2009 Good Beer Guides to prove it.
Our meeting room can host up to 60 theatre style, 100 buffet and incorporates a comfortable cinema with Dolby B surround sound, a digital projector for presentations, free Wi-Fi and music if you want it. More importantly we offer good food and drink and a relaxed environment to meet in.
