Lifton Hall is ideally positioned for touring all over the southwest, with numerous tourist attractions within an easy hour’s drive. For our doggy guests, there is a large safe playing field within a 10-minute walk. Along with a nice river to cool off in.

Our nearest towns are Launceston and Tavistock, both are worth a visit. Launceston is just over the border into Cornwall and is the county’s ancient capital. There is a castle, museum, steam railway and a selection of shops, pubs and cafés. Tavistock is an old stannary town, and has a number of attractions, including a large pannier market and a lovely river to walk along. The north coast and its beautiful scenery is only 30 minutes away.

To top it all off, the rentals are right next door to a cosy countryside restaurant – offering takeaway or dine-in, which is just perfect if you don’t fancy cooking.

The Barn:

A cosy one-bedroom holiday home for 2 people. Single storey ground-floor apartment. Well equipped kitchen/diner – Living space with comfortable seating, Smart TV and WiFi. Bedroom with king-size bed – Bathroom with shower over a bath. Outside patio area – parking on-site.

Alway:

Fully equipped kitchen/diner and lounge with smart TV. Large king-size bedroom with ensuite shower room. Access to utility room with washing machine and dryer. Outside patio area – parking on-site – WiFi.

Sycamore:

Large, fully equipped kitchen/diner and family space. Separate lounge – Entrance lobby. Six ensuite bedrooms on first floor – a twin and 5 king-size (1 with sofabed suitable for children). Outside patio area – parking on-site - WiFi.

Minimum stay - There’s a 3 night minimum stay that rises to 7 nights at peak times of the year.
