At Higher Longford Cottages you can enjoy the experience of Dartmoor, staying in one of five traditional stone built cottages. Each cottage offers an individual character and comes with their own garden, perfect for a unforgettable holiday in Devon.

Our self contained cottages are set amongst the foothills of the spectacular Dartmoor National Park and surrounded by nature. All the gardens comes with superb wooden furniture, fully equipped kitchens and modern bathrooms. They truly are a home from home. Each cottage also has a garden with garden furniture, perfect for al fresco dining whilst the sun is shining.

Pets are also welcomed at Higher Longford. Exercise areas are available to entertain your dogs as well as your own well-maintained gardens. Excellent facilities at the park for dogs include a dog walking area and dog kennel.

Ash Cottage - sleeps up to 2 + cot: This charming cottage has a lovely bedroom and offers an ideal base for touring Dartmoor, Devon and Cornwall. The cottage has been redesigned to accommodate people with special needs. The property benefits from a fenced garden area.

Sycamore Cottage - sleeps up to 2 + cot: Our cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway and comes with a beautiful bedroom and offers a little more than average. Whilst upstairs you can savour stunning views from the window.

Rowan Cottage - sleeps up to 4 + cot: This lovely cottage is great for families or couples travelling together and comes with 2 double bedrooms, natural stone feature walls and a garden/patio area off the lounge.

Oak Cottage - sleeps up to 4 plus + cot: This cottage was originally the stable and now offers fantastic accommodation brimming with character. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom which offers magical views.

Holly Cottage– Sleeps up to 6 + cots: Our ancient Dartmoor longhouse offers spacious accommodation, including a 30ft open plan lounge/dining room. Wander through the big archway to the spacious bedrooms and outside there is a private, secluded garden with high stone walls and a lovely patio area.

Facilities onsite including secure bike storage, a laundrette, small shop and additional freezer space.

Higher Longford nestles on the gentle foothill immediately below Dartmoor. There are numerous activities for those with sport in mind, all within a short distance of the Park.

Dartmoor has something to offer everybody activities include cycling, letterboxing, rock climbing, golf, swimming, canoeing, fishing, even hang gliding.
