Butterdon Mill Holiday Homes is a small privately owned family concern.

The brick built (tiled roof) detached bungalows nestle in a delightfully sheltered wooded valley at Merrymeet just 3 miles from Liskeard (8 miles from Looe). Butterdon Mill Holiday Homes have the advantage of peace & natural beauty of the Cornish countryside in an informal relaxing rural site, whilst being no great distance from numerous sandy beaches, fishing villages & many inland places of interest.

The holiday homes each have a comfortable lounge/diner with colour digital TV., a fully equipped kitchenette with microwave, bathroom (with shower over bath) and separate wc. There are 2 bedrooms, one with double bed & the second with either twin beds or bunk beds & single bed. Several bungalows have a bed settee in the lounge.

We consider the bungalows to be ample for four people but some with the capacity for a family of five or six (with the obvious reduction in privacy & space).

To help keep you cool in warm weather, and warm in cool weather, our homes are double glazed, have cavity wall insulation plus 250mm (10 inches) of loft insulation.

Electric heating is provided at no extra cost.

Front door parking at each bungalow.

Linen is included, duvets are supplied as standard but blankets can also be provided. (Please note that towels are not included).

Laundry room on site (iron & ironing board included in each bungalow).

Children's play areas.

Highchairs & cots are available on request.

Pay phone on site.

Games Barn with pool table, football table, darts & table tennis (games barn open from Easter to October only).

Garden table & chairs are included on the lawn outside each bungalow, several barbecues are also available for use.

A selection of outdoor games are provided.

Visit the quaint fishing villages of Looe, Polperro & Fowey on the south coast with Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Issac, Padstow & Newquay on the north coast. Trips to the Lizard, Lands End & St Ives will only take 1-2 hours. Or enjoy a days shopping at the city of Truro or nearby Plymouth.

The very popular Eden Project is just 25 miles away and proves an experience not to be missed.

Other nearby attractions include Kartworld (go carts), The Monkey Sanctuary, The Quarry (action adventure park), Porfell Wildlife park, The Donkey Sanctuary, water sports at Siblyback Lake, horse riding, Lux Park sports centre, numerous National Trust properties/gardens, etc., & much, much more.

For those simply wishing to relax there are plenty of beautiful walks on the moors & along breathtaking coastal paths.
