Dan y Parc Farm Guesthouse, Llandovery, Carmarthenshire
We Accept
Our 17th Century farmhouse is set in fourteen acres of forest and farmland in the heart of the Welsh valleys, near the market-town of Llandovery in the foothills of the Brecon mountains. If you're in need of a holiday, want to experience the unrivalled scenery of Mid Wales and the many local attractions, or, if you're just passing by and looking to get a good night's sleep, we offer the ideal retreat.
Our three spacious double bedrooms at Dan y Parc boast beautiful original fireplaces as well as en-suite WCs and showers.
You'll love the views out across the valleys and, as with all our rooms, you'll enjoy tea- and coffee-making facilities and colour television.
At Dan y Parc, we serve delicious homecooked breakfasts in our light and spacious conservatory dining room, which traps the sun even on the coldest of mornings.
Choose from either a continental breakfast or a full cooked breakfast with local Llandovery butcher's sausages and eggs from our very own chickens. (They're as free-range as could be.)
Vegetarian? Just let us know. We pride ourselves on our veggie options.
If you're thinking about bringing your horse on holiday then look no further. Dan y Parc has top-quality stabling facilities just ten seconds' walk from the farmhouse. Stabling costs £20 per horse per night.
Each stable is 12' by 14', has a wide door-opening and rubber floor matting. We'll provide bedding for you. For reasons of hygiene we don't have troughs or hay-nets in the stables, so you'll need to bring those with you.
Next to the stables is a large fenced paddock where you can turn your horse out after a long ride, although we do insist that horses be stabled at night.
The stables have a tack room adjoined complete with saddle racks and large cereal-bins as well as a place for you to store your hay.
